Built on a plateau and offering spectacular views of pristine bushveld, including a wildlife-rich waterhole, the sunset-facing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is located just 4km from the Victoria Falls.

Featuring a two-tiered swimming pool, fitness room, complimentary WiFi, the Buffalo Bar and MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, the lodge has been voted Best Resort Hotel by the Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents for 24 consecutive years.

Built of thatch and timber, the lodge rises several levels, giving the impression of a vast open-plan tree house. All 72 rooms have private balconies and overlook the Zambezi National Park, and the majority also overlook the lodge’s onsite waterhole, allowing guests the opportunity to watch wildlife, such as elephant, buffalo and kudu from the privacy of their balconies.

Onsite activities include the Vulture Culture Experience, a conservation project that strives to protect these endangered birds through a supplementary feeding programme; nature trails and the opportunity of a close encounter with game at the Siduli Hide, located on the edge of the waterhole.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is the flagship property of hospitality group Africa Albida Tourism, which also operates Victoria Falls Safari Club, Victoria Falls Safari Suites, Lokuthula Lodges and The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show. The group is set to open the largest and first purpose-built spa in Victoria Falls in November 2022, placing the city on the map as a wellness destination. The Victoria Falls Safari Spa will feature manicure and pedicure stations, private relaxation rooms, a café, a hair studio as well as three outlying separate secluded treatment rooms (one double and two singles).
