The independent, privately owned Ongava Game Reserve is located at south-central Etosha, adjacent the Okaukeujo entrance gate. We're grateful to be celebrating our first thirty years of conservation during 2023. We’re fans of the traditional travel value chain and also a member of Naturally Namibia, a marketing co-op of independent, private – family-owned – travel and tourism destinations and service providers. None of us are DMC’s or Inbounds, we prefer to outsource that to the professionals while we concentrate on our properties and amazing guest experiences. Ongava can be reached by self-drive, or as part of an organised tour group or on daily scheduled seat rates flights operated by Wilderness Air and also by Fly Namibia. Many other air charter companies service Ongava along with private pilots. Our airfield is well maintained with both AvGas and Jet-A1 for refuelling.
