Great Plains Conservation
Representative: Alex Walters | Sales & Marketing Manager
Great Plains Conservation operate in some of the very finest private or community wildlife reserves in Africa, and within those are beautiful, sustainable and intimate safari camps in Réserve and Explorer styles (all just 3-6 tents). The Réserve properties are all Relais & Châteaux members and have associated private two-bedroom tented villas. The profits from these camps funds conservation tourism initiatives, working in tandem with the Great Plains Foundation.
In Botswana we have camps in two private reserves: Duba Plains Reserve, Okavango Delta (Duba Plains Camp and Duba Explorers Camp) and the Selinda Reserve (Zarafa Camp, Selinda Camp, Selinda Explorers Camp & Okavango Explorers Camp).
In Zimbabwe, the vast Sapi Private Reserve, adjoining Mana Pools National Park, is 120,000 hectares with just one Réserve camp, Tembo Plains Camp. Mpala Jena Camp has a beach-vibe in the Zambezi National Park, 18kms upstream from Victoria Falls.
